Witnessing Documentary
The LEITH Lab has been working on a documentary called Witnessing. This short film traces the journey from diagnosis to caregiving to the afterlives of ALS. The lived experiences of Black families impacted by ALS have never been documented until now. Through intimate storytelling about three Black families, Witnessing offers a powerful exploration of the intersections of race, illness, and care in the United States.
